Me and my sister's first jobs were both in this little village of stores. I worked at the coffee shop and she worked at The Hope Chest, this cute little botique that sold all sorts of girly jewelry and hangbags. It was so much fun to work so close to each other. We'd visit each other on slow days. I have a lot of really fond memories of running over fresh cookies or cappuccinos to her, or when she'd bring me the new magazines and catalogues.
Unfortunately my little coffee shop closed so (so sad!), but over the last year The Hope Chest has moved to a beautiful new location and expanded to selling a lot more acceories as well as some really lovely and fun clothes too. Kim, who owns the shop, invited me to come in and take some photos and try on some clothes this week and I couldn't resist having my sister come out too. Even though we stop in and see the shop whenever we can it was still a nice little reunion and we had way too much fun trying things on and hanging out in the shop!
The area that in South Jersey we live in you mostly just find malls and Wal-marts so it's great to see an amazing small business like this growing! I really think it's exactly what we need. I look up to Kim so much for everything she's accomplished with it, she's definitely a huge inspiration to me!
